You're wrong. You're all wrong. You don't know what metal is. With the exception of Tyrannicals list, and a few of Wilkersons, you're naming emo/scene bands that try to act "metal".

No, most of yours were either mainstream, black, or death metal. There is a huge difference between metal and black or death metal, or even thrash in that case. The metal genre was started by Iron Maiden, Twisted Sister, Led Zepplin, and Black Sabbath.

The thread didn't call for a certain genre of metal. Just bands that fall under genre's considered metal, or birthed by metal. At least thats how i took it, judging by the OP.
